Casa Miron is one of a small collection of buildings in what the Spanish term a 'mas'. The main house is occupied by your hosts, Gill and William, and there is also a large garage, a laundry room, a stable and other farm buildings.
Having all fallen in disrepair, the buildings have, over the past few years, been lovingly restored to more than their former glory. The final building to be restored was, in fact, the oldest of them all and is the original house around which all the others had grown. This is now Casa Miron and the restoration was completed in late 2010.
Although many original and traditional features remain, the house has all the comforts one expects of a house in the 21st century. Although designed to be used as a holiday home, the standard of finish and facilities are those you would want if it were to be your permanent home.
